              Asobi Asobase episode 1
Huh, apparently that "look the other way" game from Hinamatsuri is an actual thing It has the same style of people-being-jerks humor as well, though without the heartfelt moments thus far. But despite being more than a little mean-spirited it did make me laugh out loud on more than one occasion. Likewise, even though the art style is frequently crude & has a washed-out feel to it, it actually does seem to fit the show's mood. Overall, I really am conflicted about how I feel about this series, so suppose I'll need to stick with it a while to try and sort it out

              Angolmois episode 1
even though I don't really have a very good understanding of the historical period & events this series is based on, it certainly does set the stage for an interesting story. Again, the art style is rather unusual, but seems to match the story's tone. If I don't wind up following this series, it will at the very least go on my list of series to check out later.

                  Chio's School Road episode 2
I honestly think I'll have a hard time watching both this series & Asobi Asobase at the same time because they're so similar. AA made me laugh more, so this will probably go on the backlog pile.

                  Lord of Vermilion episode 1
I actually made it through to the OP

                      Chio-chan no Tsuugakuro - 2

This episode throws more gaming references and re-introduces Chio's sidekick Manana, whom happens to be quite a scummin opportunistic backstabber, and we love her for that. Chio-chan is pretty good when it comes to using her inner chuuni and talk her way out trouble.

                      Lord of Vermillion - 1

Thsi should have been named, "Good lord, who came up with this idea?" The first 2 minutes it dumps a dozen characters, literally killing each other, leaving no survivors at all , in what appears to be a flash forward. The introduction of the story in a mid point like this is a terrible idea that already kills any legit enthusiasm to know the characters. And also dumping so many characters in a distopic scenario, just creates chaos and despration for us the viewers. This is a def drop title (it's a shame because in terms of artstyle and animation, it looked pretty good)

                      Harukana Receive - 2

Little bit of background story on Kana & her old flame. Along with tons of Haruka's booty shots.

                      Happy Sugar Life - 1

This also commits the same mistake Vermillion did, presenting a flash forward with a no turn back scenario for the main character. Although in contrast, this takes it's time to present the life of the main character, along with bits on her past and her motivations in her current lifestyle. This is def a keeper, at least in the short run

                      Sunohara-sou no Kanrinin-san - 2

I'm watching this for the T&A, along with the mini copy of two of the GJ characters.

                      Akkun to Kanojo - 15

This show is miles more entertaining whenever any other character than the male MC is on screen.

                      Grand Blue - 1

More like the Grand Meh. Retarded repetition of the same joke over and over. Lame same reaction face on almost every situation. Loud and obnoxious characters. This is obviously aimed at those who aren't yet into college life or are into college life right now.

dangg, the quality of the visuals for the new cour just took a huge jump, hope they can maintain it.
Really hope this is a start for gadget-girl getting more screen time (she's basically a self promoting mad scientist, but at least her ideas are innovative, right ). Was good to see the trio of Izuku, Iida & Ochaco together again and nice to see Bakugo & Darkshadow's development continuing from the previous arcs. Also funny seeing Allmight trying to act more like a teacher
.And I'm loving the new OP and ED. Can you tell I got some serious HYPE for the second half of this season

                            Harukana Receive episode 2
they really upped the fanservice & yuri quotient this week, not that I'm complaining Continues to be the "fun" sports series as opposed to Hanebado's more serious approach.

                            Cells at Work episode 2
Well, the platelets are certainly cute, but I remain uncommitted to this series. Will probably give it another episode, but seems like it will go on my backlog pile
