Shurei studies fervently to pass the Aptitude Test as well as the National Exam. Even though it pains her, she must quit her part time jobs if she is to make her dream a reality. During one of her visits to a former employer, she has a fateful encounter with a young man destined to be a lifelong friend and ally before and after the National Exam results are posted.
